Utilizing the GPS sensor, Magnetic Field Sensor, and Accelerometer, this application calculates the distance and direction to a GPS waypoint autonomously without requiring it to be held level.

In contrast to traditional compasses that necessitate being level for accurate readings, this app leverages the accelerometer data to translate the magnetic field reading into the horizontal plane.

Aside from providing information on the distance and direction to the waypoint, an informative compass ring displays the current heading, ensuring that North accurately aligns with True North by correcting for magnetic declination.

The bottom of the screen conveniently exhibits both the GPS reading and the time elapsed since that reading, enhancing user experience during navigation tasks such as geocaching or locating specific destinations like your car or hotel.
